Position Description

The Account Manager on the Professional Services Firm sales team in Hong Kong will be responsible for expanding Gerson Lehrman Group?s relationship with a portfolio of professional service firm clients in Asia, including global strategy consultancies, audit firms, communications strategy firms and others.

The Account Manager will:
? engage key constituents at clients in order to articulate GLG's brand and tailor our value proposition to those clients;
? "map" client organizations to identify potential new buyers/users of GLG's services and promoters within;
? prospect new GLG users within client firms and practice areas in order to drive adoption of GLG's services;
? execute on account growth objectives in consultation with segment head;
? quarterback client service teams to achieve those objectives; and
? push out new product, service and pricing initiatives to clients and collect customer feedback on those initiatives.

Key performance metrics for the Account Manager include client revenue growth, increase in users of GLG?s services at client firms, and adoption of new products and systems. The Account Manager will also be responsible for establishing relationships with new clients. The Account Manager will report to the segment leader on the Professional Services Firm sales team and will also work closely with the head of New Markets sales, client service professionals and other salespeople. Candidates for this position should have demonstrated an ability to manage sophisticated B2B relationships. Candidates should be comfortable articulating the value of our expert network, professional services and client-facing software systems to clients.

Expected Background
Candidates must have a clear track record of excellence in several categories, including: teamwork, professionalism, communications, organization and client service.

Additional candidate qualifications include:
? 3 to 5 years of demonstrated success in one of these fields:
? Consultant at top-tier strategy consultancy
? Investment banker in a financial sponsors or technology team
? Financial services industry sales
