Review: Located behind the food court, this restaurant offers comfortable setting at affortable price in this shopping mall. We had 4-course set dinner, $170+. The admiraly roll is comtempory style with salad sauce, not so good. Quite a lot of choices of coffee. Tofu pudding tastes good, a very light dessert. The atmosphere is relaxing.

Although this cafe has a french name, actually it serves western food like steak, pasta, coffee, herbal tea, snacks, cakes etc.
I found their menu is quite simple and emphasized on healthy ingredients. I have been to this cafe twice, both in peak lunch time but it is not crowded at all and their service is good. Many 2nd hand magazines about travel, fashion and beauty are provided.
Besides, it is not just a cafe but gallery - there are artworks by different local artists exhibited on the wall, topics may change from time to time.
2nd floor is an associated book store, but I have not visited yet.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Cuisine: American Snacks in Causeway Bay

Price: HK$30-40 (coffee + doughnuts)

61-73 Lee Garden Road, Causeway Bay
Tel. 2890 6263

I ordered original favour (HK$10/pc) & Maple Iced Glazed favour (HK$12/pc).
They were too sweet for me, even the original favour, so I couldn't finish.
The ice coffee (HK$30) was just ok as I forgot to ask for No Whip Cream.
There were many students there when I visited in the afternoon, too noisy and thus I prefer to take away.
I still prefer Mister Donut but couldn't find in HKG.

Price: HK$100-150

Compared to the chain restaurants in Japan, I found the food quality was poorer & the choice in menu was fewer. However, it was much more crowded.
Service was just ok as the layout of this restaurant is not square-like, there was no waiter/waitress around the area where I was sitting, so we must yell out to ask for service, really like the traditional japanese wine restaurant - izakaya!

Have been there several times.
Quite many special dishes.
I especially like their xiao long bao which is juicy, taste good, very thin-pastry but not easy to break, quite easy to handle.
Many choices for dim sum and noodles with reasonable price, easy to share among couples.
Good to book in advance for big 12-ppl round tables or window seats facing Time Square.

The bread & soup was good.
Their service was good as well. When I told the waiter that the milk was cold but the coffee was not hot enough, he made another cup immediately even though I have almost finished & told him it was not necessary.
