Dhampus trek ? is one of the classic Himalayan trekking regions. We will get through Hindu villages where we will be assured of a warm welcome; follow trails through oak and forest where the sound of the bird calls fill the air and camp in serene locations that afford magnificent views of the Annapurna Range. During the fall, we will see farmers harvesting rice and millet. We will climb couple of Himalayan hills up to over 1700 m for exceptional views of the Annapurnas and Machhapuchhare. 1. 2 days Dhampus trek (Beginner level) ? your lifetime experience to see a close up of the highest peaks in the world ? Annapurna South (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Machhapuchhare (6993m) and Dhaulagiri (8713m).
2. Visit some of the important Unesco World Heritage Sites - Patan Durbar Square, Swayambunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) and Pashpupatinath etc.
3. Enjoy sunrise and sunset with panoramic views of the Himalaya, including the highest peak of the world ? Mt Everest (8848 m).
4. Visit International Mountain Museum in Pokhara ? information of 1st expedition team that reached Mt Everest (8848m), information of top 10 peaks in the world, DVD show and record of different expedition teams to Mt Everest as well as displays on the history, culture, geology, flora and fauna of the Himalaya.
5. Arrangement of booking adventure activities at great price ? Mountain flight, paragliding, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking?. (Mountain flight approx. US$125 for 30mins, paragliding approx.US$75 for 30 mins).
6. Relaxing day at Le Meridien Hotel in Kathmandu for Golf or Spa treatment

Day 1:Arrival Kathmandu by Thai and transfer to domestic airport for flight to Pokhara, a beautiful resort town which is right by the Phewa Lake and the Himalayas. On the flight you will see stunning views of the Himalayas.

After checking in hotel, meeting with trekking guide for briefing.

Evening: Enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine. Dinner with cultural dance performance at famous Boomerang Restaurant at lakeside

Hotel: Shangri-La or Fish Tail Lodge or same grade

Day 2:
After breakfast, drive to starting trekking point for trekking.

You will walk around 3 hrs to arrive Dhampus (approx. 1750m)

Evening: Enjoy sunset of the Himalayas.

Hotel: on the mountain at Dhampus with beautiful views of the Himalayas

Day 3:
Morning: Enjoy beautiful sunrise and stunning mountain views of the Himalayas.

We will see some of the highest peaks in the world ? Fish Tail /Machhapuchhare (6993m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Annapurna South ( 7219 m) and Dhaulagiri (8713m ).

After breakfast, walk down for around 3 hours. Then, drive back to Pokhara

After lunch , free time adventure activity ? mountain flight, paragliding, canoeing, kayaking, boating, mountain biking or boating in the lake etc.

Evening: Dinner at Italian restaurant at lakeside.

Hotel: Shangri-La or Fish Tail Lodge or same grade

Day 4:After breakfast, domestic flight back to Kathmandu.

After lunch, drive to the famous hill resort area ? Nargarkot (2100 m).

Walk around the hill area to appreciate local sceneries of the villages and terraced fields.

Evening: Dinner at hotel

Hotel: Club Himalayas or same grade

Day 5:
Early morning enjoy sunrise and panoramic views of the Himalayas (including the highest peak of the world ? Mt Everest 8848 m)

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu for sightseeing ? visit some of the important Unesco World Heritage Sites such as Patan Durbar Square, Swayambunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) and Pashpupatinath

Dinner at famous Thai Restaurant in Kathmandu, optional free time at bar

Day 6:After breakfast, drive to country side Le Meridien Golf and Spa Resort for Golf and Spa Treatment.

Day 7:Free stop over Bangkok.

After breakfast, transfer to airport for connecting flight to Bangkok.

Day 8:Connecting flight back to Hong Kong in the morning or afternoon.

• The working style and service standard may make us impatient, but we should be aware of their local culture.
• The travel industry in Nepal is less developed compared to their Asian neighbours such as Thailand. Although we try our utmost best to provide you with comfort and pleasure, please bear in mind that a 5-star hotel still needs further improvement.

Booking and Cancellation Policy:

• High season surcharge will be applied during Christmas and Chinese New Year. Surcharge would be around HK$500 - HK$1,000.
• Full tour price will be paid when air ticket is confirmed.
• After ticket is confirmed, the whole package will be arranged by travel agent in Nepal. For cancellation, 25% refund of the tour price will be returned.
• No refund after air ticket has been issued for group ticket.

You can apply for land visa after you arrive Kathmandu airport, please bring along one photo and fill up a form at airport. For HKSAR passport holder, visa is free.

For BNO or other passport holders, US$30 for visa fee.

Cash and Currency:
Please bring along US$ cash for your travel expenses. (US$ has better rate than HK$ ). US$1 to around 70 Rupees. You can easily change US$ into local currency Rupees in tourist area. They open from Monday to Sunday. The rate at airport counter may be lower, so it?s better not to change money there. Our guide will bring you to tourist area Thamel upon your check in hotel, so you can change money there.

Tips to Tour Guide:
For tips of your tour US$84 per person, we would like you to pay us in US$cash and we will collect this amount from you in Kathmandu by the end of the tour.

Cash expenses ? Shopping:
For a piece of 28 inches good quality pashmina shawl (70 % pashmina & 30% silk), cost around HK$ 300. For the best quality 100% pashmina scarf cost around HK$450. For silver jewelry, it will cost you from few US$ to US$20 for a piece of pendant or earrings. Nepalese knife cost you from small one US$5 to big one around US$20. Some of the shops accept credit card but they will charge you 4% handling charge.
