Fan Lau, Lantau Island 10 May 2008
Nice trip despite of the rain, actually it made the temperature cooler which was great for hiking. Great scenic spots and we had lunch cooked by a granny at Fan Lau Village, fresh tomato and vegetables straight from the ground.
We were behind schedule and thus we called for a boat to take us to Tai O from Fan Lau Village, then a bus ride back to Tung Chung.

A little gem hidden in Wan Chai that doesn't look very attractive from the outside. On the inside the decoration is fairly ordinary, but the food was great. We had the set dinner, a number of dishes, starter, sushi, cooked, etc, but what they actually served depends on the season and the supplies on that day. What we had was good and there were plenty.

We came here for a late dinner after our tai chi class, very affordable, quick dinner, and the food was okay too. For the BBQ you can do it yourself or have it served cooked.
