Nearly 30 people turned up to the travel sharing on Tibet and Nepal. Bonnie did an excellent job to present the best side of these two places. We also had a lucky draw at the end of the talk.

Visited Taipei again with my parents and we enjoyed the local food very much. Also visit the observation deck of Taipei 101 Building (the tallest building in the world). Impressed by the lift that took us from 5th floor to 89th floor in just 37 Secs. You can also see the gaint damper to reduce swing induced by the strong wind.

Also visited the Museum that housed the treasures taken from the Forbidden City of Beijing, the museum has been revamped and is very nice.

Story:
Julien is a retired old man whose hobby is butterfly (Le Papillon) with his own butterfly room and plenty of samples. Elsa is a 9 year old girl with her single mother who has to work all the time and cannot spend much time with her daughter. They just moved to the same building where Julien lives. When Elsa overheard about Jilien's trip to search for the beautiful and rare butterfly called "Isabella", she secretly hides in his car and wants to follow him. Julien initially wants to turn her in to the police, but later decides to let her goes along to this butterfly journey...

My review:
A very nice touching story, the old man and little girl have a lot to learn from each other. Through the journey of searching for the butterfly, they are enlightened...

Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (buy from Amazon)

This is a documentary on the story of Enron, how the company has once risen to the 5th largest company in USA and then fell to become one of the biggest corporate scandals in history. Greed and arrogant have completely clouded the minds of the chair, CEO, CFO, executives and its traders to pursue highly profit at the expenses of the public by using fraudulent and creative accounting. Its fall also brought down one of the biggest accounting firms.

Dominic's Review: A nice Italian restaurant in TST, we had Pinot Grigio, Ham and Melon, Brocolli Soup and Seafood Risotto. Not bad at all!

Irene's Review: It's not busy even on Fri evening. There is musician to sing in front of you if you wish. The only drawback is that the restaurant is not facing the sea like the others in the same area.

Dominic's Review: We had Kobe beef Saibu Saibu, yum yum! The beef was of very good quality. Cyberport is usually pretty quiet thus good atmosphere. nice and calm.

Irene's Review: Yeah very suitable to avoid big crowd. We came here a few times. Good quality. The high ceiling and outdoor garden make this place nicer.
