Levoca is a small but very beautiful walled city in Slovakia, and it is not far from the capital Bratislava. We enjoyed afternoon tea here.

Spisske Podhradie is home to a world heritage castle on the mountain, very interesting and historical. On a hot summer day, it is quite an exercise to get up to the castle, but it is worth it!

Poprad, Slovakia, Europe

Poprad is the second largest city in Slovakia, not a lot to see, but it is a convenient city for connecting services. We spent a long time to look for decent and reasonably priced that has vacancy, and it took us a while...

One ought to visit Auschwitz and realise that how human can go to such extreme and conduct such evil act against other humans. This is such a dark period of human history, may what happened here will never be repeated ever.

Very glad to show Irene my school in Jersey. It means a lot to me and she likes the place very much, not just the school but the island also. I'm very glad to see many of my teachers. It brings back a lot of fond memories.

Excellent service as you would expect from Four Seasons Hotel. The French restaurant Caprice has 8 tables by the window with great view of the harbour. Very nice modern decoration with open kitchen. The food was very delicious, we tried the 2-course menu just under HK$400, the portion was the right size. We didn't have wine as it was a bit early to drink. Overall, it was a very good lunch experience. The price is however a bit on the high side, with drinks and service charge, it was about HK$550 per person without wine. Perhaps we had extremely high expectation that we were expecting the high quality that would have given us some big surprise. We did have some pleasant surprise, the manager remembered from my previous conversation that we were coming here for a birthday lunch, though we didn't actually make the reservation then, they were still able to figure out. Thus extra dessert and a candle on the cake. Tres Bien!

Review: I know this is supposed to be a leading restaurant in Hong Kong. We probably ordered the wrong dishes -- there were 3 of us and we all ordered a different fish. Frankly, nothing special, especially for a restaurant of this calibre. Of course, the restaurant is beautiful.

Review: Opulent, comfortable interior with equally attractive smoking/ waiting area. Unfortunately you cant eat design! Ordered the chef's recommendation course (I think it was HK$900+ each), and the food was bland, ok at best. Disappointing for a restaurant that has the interior design to be one of the best in HK. Service was so-so and erratic.
